I'm on chapter 230.
I pretty much skipped the whole Crocodile saga on the account that I watched the first half in the Anime (I know that Anime =/= Manga, but I really don't want to read it) and I read the second half in Shonen Jump, so I skipped ahead. You were right, it is getting better again.

Chapter 557 is OUT! I swear Luffy couldn't get any more dense, can he? Just the sheer magnitude of how he acted in front of Whitebeard is astounding. It also appears my eldest brother was right. Luffy's body in Gear Second CAN hit Crocodile.

Read it a few hours and to be honest, for the first time in weeks/months, I'm disappointed. I was expecting the battle to begin, eh.
It was still nice to see Luffy's awesome attitude regarding Whitebeard. The Shichibukai's reaction to his arrival actually made me laugh, specially Moria's.

No, I was dying laughing at that part, especially when Robin did the... ahem, 'nuff said.
I just thought it was odd that they'd call it that instead of just a Thong.

That scene was brutally awesome.
