Although it's not too important, I decided to do a topic focusing on the link between the two regions.
Behold, the S.S. Aqua. The exterior is just amazing.
Then, we have the interior. There are a lot of areas, so I've put them in URL format instead.
Main Room [Floor 1]

Lower Deck, Left Wing [Basement 1]

Captain's Room
This is your room. It's the bottom-right room of the ship's main area.
Last (and definitely least, stfu) we have what you see on the Pok�Gear's map feature when you're aboard the S.S. Aqua.

S.S. Aqua is where I'd train pokemon to level 60-70. However the mechanics have changed. I wouldn't know If I'm still able to do that.

There are considerably less trainers on it than compared to the 2nd gen. Not sure if you'll be able to train much there this time.
