So I've been listening to a podcast from another website, and I was thinking that we can also do one. So my idea was we could all get in a large Skype call, and then people could read and discuss game news and such, interviews, ect.
If you have any ideas, please suggest.

I think the idea is there, and it might be cool. But I don't even know what Skype is... I've heard of it, but never bothered to look into it.

By a few forums off do you mean placing it in SCT? I put it here because this is mainly the forum for this kind of community stuff. And Skype is a program that you can basically make a conference call without actual phones.

Sounds like a good idea, though. I know what Skype is (sort of Webcam-like thing where you can speak to people as well as see them, right?), and it could very well work.

Ok... let me explain this slowly. I put it in SCT rather than S&P because S&P is used to report suggestions that change the site and whatnot, this doesn't. It's similar to the Newsletter, so this is the best place for it. This has nothing to do with Rich or other Admins, so it's pointless to put it there because it is a suggestion to the community, not the Roots.

So.. The people who would want to listen to the Podcast would have to be online at the time and actually watch it live? Wouldn't it be easier for whoever would be doing it to record it and then upload it? :/ Or is a Podcast actually supposed to be live? XD

no. No video. We record the voices, do some editing, and put it on iTunes or something.

I haven't looked much into Skype myself. My computer can do it, but, you know, it's just not something I've done.
If we can get it going, that'd be cool. And I could be a part of it. I'm figuring if we don't fit qwert, vasco, myself, and guy-in-oakland in there somehow it would be a total flop.

Yeah, realised that while I was watching the video GIO posted. My bad. <:
Now my stupidness is out of the way, I very much like this idea. I agree, it should be similar to Invisible Walls, that video was pretty good imo. Though, we'd need some committed people depending on how frequent the episodes would be.

I was thinking monthly, with each episide being thirty to fourty-five minutes. It'll be hard to get a schedule though, with time zones and everything....
