More correctly: Percy Jackson & the Olympians.

This is the story of young Perseus Jackson. A young boy who discovers he is a demigod, half-god and half-human, and is sent to Camp Halfblood after a vicious attack from the Minotaur. Discovering the true identity of himself and his biological father, a Greek god of Olympus, Percy Jackson and his new friends of Camp Halfblood unite to fight against mythological creatures to prevent a mysterious evil from causing a war between the Greek gods. Written by Rick Riordan, the story is a series made up of five books:
1. The Lightning Thief
2. Sea of Monsters
3. Titan's Curse
4. Battle of the Labyrinth
5. The Last Olympian

Upon first reading them, I am absolutely addicted to these books. I'm currently reading the second one!

Really?
I loved this series. I was addicted to these books. Couldn't stop reading.
I made it to the 3rd book, stopped reading due to things that interest me more....I would always read in school, in my Study Halls mostly.
What part are you one?

Now they are coming out with a movie about the first book.
It will be like the Harry Poter series, with the books and the movies, but a lot better.

As i said in the movies forum:

It was and still is a great series. I can't wait to see this movie. If only it could be as big as harry potter. I love Greek mythology and the fact that this series takes it to a whole new level is simply splendid.

I thought this series was absolutely incredible.

Not only was it interesting and a great idea, it had carefully defined characters, a spectacular plot, and most importantly, it made the reader want to keep reading. I think I have finished the first four and I have not had the time to read the 5th book.

I've read all of the books, and loved them all. Me, being interested by Greek Mythology loved them from the first book. Percy Jackson makes an awesome protaginist and the different plots and enemies and all the gods make it one awesome series.

Alas, I have only the first one, so I have to stick with it. My friend is reading them so I can't borrow them from him at the moment.

P.S. The movie was horrible. It didn't go along with the book really at all.
