I had been playing for 3 hours cont.(i started the game today), and chasing a farfetch in the illex forest then i saw a Green Zubat.I know its not a great pokemon but i am so happy

That's awesome, dude. My friend actually just saw a shiny Zubat the other day, too.
One of the first shiny Pok�mon I've seen in this game was a Pidgey on the first route. Needless to say, I was surprised.

I've only seen one shiny pokemon in the wild. And that was in the original Gold version- A gold Weepingbell. Came so close to catching it, just needed to bring its HP down a little more then - critical hit. Dammit >=/

Other than the red Gyarados in Lake of Rage, I haven't caught a shiny Pokemon yet on SoulSilver. Though, I have traded a few shinies from my Diamond onto SoulSilver. They include a silver metagross, a brighter yellowish (XD) Hariyama, a black Charizard, and a black Rayquaza.
May make random appearances every-so-often. Trying to officially return...

I've legitimately seen a green Zubat in Gold and a purple Wurmple in Emerald. The Zubat was after I already caught Red Gyarados and I nearly went ballistic (two shinies in a row does that to you at a young age).

I captured shuppet, whismur and koffing all shinnies on emerald(more in diamond and platinum). I also saw once a shiny vileplume owned by a CPU in Pok�mon Battle Revolution... Ughh.. if only i could have snagged it... XD

I had waaaaaaay too much time, and succeeded in breeding a shiny eevee. Unfortunately, I have already traded it for some random pokemon online just too see how fast a lvl. 1 eevee goes. Really freakin' fast is the answer.

Besides the pikachu-colored pichu (which doesn't really count) I haven't caught any shiny Pokemon so far... wats the rate of encountering shiny Pokemon anyway? I think that its like 1/1800 rite?
