Wait wait wait..... Is Nintendo serious?

Now somebody please point me towards the real pokemon that are going to be in this game.... This roster is quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I`ve ever seen... It looks like someone with paint made these with a bunch of already existing sprites and images.... PLEASE tell me this isnt for real....

Dear God..... They have really run out of ideas havent they? They couldve taken 5 years to make a new game and i wouldve been cool with it if they actually put some work into it.... But this.... This is terrible.

I LOL`d. Quite frankly I`m pretty damn sure that pokemon fans on this site could come up with a better roster given enough time...

Black and White specifically. Only having one from the entire series isn't fun. Normal / Flying chicken that stays a chicken in final evo. Not become a fighting / fire Blaziken.

Its true I have the import game. You'll get used to them when the game comes out... Well most of them theres still a few I still can't think of as Pokemon.

I will not move past 4th Gen either.

I was disappointed with Sinnoh`s roster but compared to this.... Just wow

Anyway, I honestly don't see the big deal. Sure, some of them look kind of tacky, but I'll get used to them. The games will be fun anyway, I'm sure~

Shinpora is one of the tacky ones, yes, and so is the ice cream thing.

But Desukan is a mummy and that's awesome, IMO. Can't wait to get my hands on it, tbh.

And what's wrong with Smugleaf? It's like if Treecko and Cyndaquil were stuck in a blender. It's way better design-wise than the other two starters, unfortunately it also has stats in entirely the wrong places.

Really, I didn't like any of them to start but I got used to them over time. Some I still want to stay away from as much as possible, though. Like Tabunne and the Gochiruzeru, those look more than a little strange. ._.

They're certainly different, but not everything that's different is bad. :|

Personally, I feel this is the best designed gen since Gen 1.

It's all a matter of oppinions.

Ahem...

I think everybody who wants to hate on the new Pokes should take a good, hard look at that pic, it speaks the truth. And if you don't choose to play the games anymore, it's your loss. We hear this every time new Pokemon come out because they're new and/or different. People whine & cry about them until they get used to them, then they shut their faces until the next Gen rolls around.

Personally, I think this Gen has some of the best Pokemon ever, I honestly do. There are a ton of Pokemon that the fandom has been clamoring for ages now, and most of the designs feel really new & fresh. There isn't 20 evolutions & 15 pre-evos in this set, they're all new. I will admit, though, that the new Pokes aren't all perfect. Some of them have sucky designs, some have bad types, and some just feel like overkill. Personally, Gear's evo could've been done better, and I still haven't warmed up to the snowflake one. And there seems to be an overabundance of Fighting types too, the Mink line seemed like 2 too many. They should've scrapped those two for a better line, like a Steel/Poison line. And I'm still a bit sore about Desukan being pure Ghost (which isn't all that bad, I still love it, it's just I didn't see it coming.) But overall, this Gen is fantastic imo.

I just don't like Kyremu or whatever his name is. The Ice Dragon type. Sure, it has rather fun stats and such to play with, and starts Lv 75.. But the thing looks just ridiculous. It can't be helped. If the makers wanted the things to look like the way they do, so be it. I'm still going to play/destroy all trainers in the game. ;)

a lot of these guys look good but there are really too many that look like nintendo got an old pokemon sprite and adjusted it.

I believe there`s one in there who`s just taurus with an afro.

I think they are better then the 4th generation, but they are still bad :(
