Notch offered them a great way out. From what I've read, the lawsuit was responsibility of Bethesda's Legal Department, so, even if it wasn't approved by Bethesda as a whole, they wouldn't be able to drop it because of the terrible publicity it would bring. Notch is giving them a nice way to drop this behind while making both companies look good.

But im concered with the fact that Bethesda is good friends with id software, They could get some uber pros like cypher or rapha.

Also, noctis, (quake pro) has volunteered to frag for notch.

interesting trivia: Jeb actually helped program CPMA for quake.

Pretty much all the 1st world countries have their own Quake Pro, wars should be settled this way.
