I live in MA we are suppose to be hit I just hope it weakens a lot before it gets here, i don't want to be in a house without power for a week or so.

Anyone else seem the pics of the storm from space? This thing is big. I sure hope everyone gets to somewhere safe before it hits them.

It's pretty wide. The electric company just called a bit ago and said if if power goes out Sunday, do not expect it to be back on for 'multiple days'. So if I'm not posting, it's because I've got no electricity.

The hurricane is just off of Florida in this.

They just had Cape May County get out, and everyone in Atlantic City and surrounding areas have just been asked to leave. The Atlantic City Expressway southbound carriageway is closed, as are the southbound carriageways of the Garden State Parkway and Routes 47 and 347 (where the southbound lane has been reversed) and Route 72 eastbound. So I'm stuck in Pennsylvania for the next few days.
EDIT: On that globe I see another tropical storm in progress. More trouble ahead?

ya Boston is finally under a Hurricane Warning, we are under a Tropical Storm Warning, My classes on Monday have already been canceled, and stuff. I hope we don't get hit that hard.

I heard some guy there got clobbered by a tree limb. Lots of trees downed there.
I also saw Rehoboth Beach getting flooded out, and it's just on the first rim.

I think one of the things that makes this storm so scary is that this is the first one thats taken a path along the coast like this in years. Or at least thats what I understand from what I heard on the news.
