I has a mix of nuts, dried fruits etc for a snack. Trying to get healthier, and failing miserably, since I have a big bag of candy xD

Nuts are up for debate for many reasons. Some say that they are high in fat, others say good fat, however, if they're salted then they're bad and they give people gasses.

You can't just say "high fat! that's bad!" Because then you wouldn't eat avacado would you? (regardless of taste preferences etc)
Yes, some nuts are high in fat - that fat is also considered the 'good' kind of fat. Nuts are also a good sorce of protein etc.
Just because they may contain a high(ish) level of one substance, doesn't mean they're automatically bad for you.

Means exactly that for me babe. High level of saturated fat, anything fried or anything that provokes gasses I cant touch as it makes me ill.
I did mention that some claim that nuts are high in fat but others claim that they are 'good fat' if you notice in my post.
Of course they can provoke gasses so I cant have even though I love nuts.

Nuts don't contain saturated fats though. From what I remember, and I'm way to tired to do the research, most nuts contain mono-unsaturated fats. Could be poly-unsaturated fats, I can't remember.
Point is - from what I remember learning - nuts containing minimal, if any at all, trans-fats.
