Some Work of Mine

Well I decided to post here under the suggestion of Craizen so i figured I would make a post to exhibit my sig work and get some feedback. Anyway here are a few examples of some of my work my current sig included. Yes they all look kind of the same in a way but that's just my sig style i suppose.

I don't allow meanies in my forum lol. Well until you get better and understand why I'm griping at you :D

I have to admit from when you first started to now, you've improved a bit, especially in color choice. I like the first one a lot. As your still a High Beginner, getting to Novice, I can seriously critique right, but merely guide.
Keep experiementing, while all pieces may look the same to you, it's just about diversifiying your style that you have now, and will develop later. I'm going ot make a conscious effort to create GIMP tuts and link people to helpful ones here, so watch for those. Main thing about it, have fun. Something I've been having to do.

the first one is older the second one is the most recent one beside my current sig and i am currently working on a sig atm as well so i shall post that one when i am done with it

Well, when I'm not at My Wii, I'll give you more in depth. Your current has some contrast issues but I'm nto sure how bad they really are. I have an older TV so color is odd sometimes, even though I've customized my setting as much as I can.

a contrast issue you say? they look alright to me? its not so much contrast its the Cd4s i used

Contrast has to deal with lighting. And you have good and bad contrast.

yeah i kno the one i had a few minutes ago wasnt the greatest i was mostly goin for sumthin bright and flashy. But hows my current sig? i think it looks pretty good and the render was naturally bright cuz she was standing in the moonlight so i tried to kinda make it work with the sig

You have some pretty good stuff, try some more tuts to refine your style and get some more into your arsenal. Keep it up though, it's always nice to have new faces around here, especially ones with talent like you have.

I thank you for your kind words. And I have been trying some tuts lately but sometimes I get a bit confused with them because they arent explained really well.

Creating tuts is hard honestly, especially if your making the tag as you do the tut, like I do. Tutorials are basically guides to teach, not and give you a nice finished piece, so you can apply those skills elsehwhere. I'm making beginning tutorials purely because people need them, most suck because they don't teach.

Looking at them from a computer, I still like the first one best. It has decent placement, and good bg. It just needs some lighting and blending of the focal.

Oh i believe you i don't at all doubt that its difficult to do
