First off, tell me what you think. This is my first serious piece with pastels. It took me about five days to get to this point.

Secondly, help me think of a title, haha. Its usually not hard for me to name my work, but I'm quite stumped on this one for some odd reason.

Thanks mang, you should take it up. Practice makes perfect. I'd love to start seeing more drawings, paintings, etc. in this forum.

As for the name, it works for me, but I'm going to put in Spanish because I drew this from a Latin sculpture I have sitting around.

Sounds fancy in Espaol.

A good angle. Very smooth transitioning in shading. This is what I'd imagine when I hear "A portrait of Objets d?art".

Although, (and I don't know why), I get this bizarre sense of 'loneliness' from looking into the eye of the focal (bird). I'm unsure as to why. Or, is it 'lifelessness'? *Shrug*

Great job, regardless.

Oooh, emotional impact? May I take that as a compliment?

Honestly, it might be because I accidentally used a waxy, dull pastel at first and I just could not get any color to stick on top of it...Anxious

Indeed you may~

Also, the bird seems to have a wooden texture to it, which may also give it that feel.

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be how the colors look dull when paired with all the white light, but personally, I like the feel it gives it :3
Also could just be the picture taken isn't very complimentary to your drawing, which is what I'm assuming, because it's gorgeous.

Eh, more or less. The real drawing has slightly more contrast in it, but hardly enough to change what you see in the photo.

And many thanks to all of the compliments, guys :D

Run on, girl, run on.
