^That was my concern with the deletion within an hour part but I suppose that could work and if they do have advertisers or they are bots etc they can just be dealt with accordingly.

Sounds like a good idea, Derek. It would definitely bring more activity to the forums, although the issue of guest posting does need attention. I think that having it collapse after a certain amount of time (one hour perhaps) would be a good idea. It could just collapse into italicized text that says "Warning. Unmoderated content. Click to view." or something. Then when you click it it opens up the post.
