Maybe it's just me...

Maybe it's just me, but I don't much like the layout of the pages for a question.
It's probably just personal preference, but I feel as if they could be laid out just slightly better. Nothing big, and nothing that I'd feel would take much coding changes.
They're just minor changes, but I feel as if they'd make quite a difference in the look of questions pages.



I don't know. Again, it's really just my own personal preference. And it won't really cause any changes in, say, popularity of the site. I just think the questions pages would look better if they were laid out differently.

No, I don't think it's an ad.

I believe it's just the search engine that Supercheats uses for when someone wants to search the entire web.

Some (most) sites use the Google Custom Search thing. But Ask is used here. For whatever reason. Maybe they're paid for it?

I'm not a huge fan of the page either.
I don't like how every time I answer a question I can just go directly to my games and repeat the process. Unless now I can and I haven't noticed!!!

So, what? You mean like accidentally answering the same question twice?

I would guess that we are paid to have that ask search bar on site.

I answer a question, then I can either continue answering questions for the same game or I have to go back to questions, click my games and then scroll through again.

Really all I want to do is answer a question, click my games again and continue scrolling through the questions that are there.

Me + 10hours in work = confusing for sc members XD

I think I know what you're talking about Nikki. I just use the Back button. I think it works. Or the help a gamer page.

Yeah sometimes I use the back button too but meh I shouldn't have to!!! I do at least 5 a week that should deserve something direct. XD

That could probably get very annoying if it was common enough.

Nikki, could you please exaplain again your answering problem using URLs and how you answer questions, I think we can solve it I just need to know more about the route you are taking to answer questions.

If I'm thinking about the same thing Nikki is, it has to do with the My Games page.

After you go to a question and answer it, there's no option to take you back to that page. You have to use the browser's back button.

I think there should be a link somewhere in here to take you back.

Atleast, I think this is what she's talking about.

Also, the my games page doesn't have a title.

Yeah, I've also noticed that some pages on the site don't have a proper title - including, like you said, the games page.
If I notice any other pages, I'll update here or in a new thread with them. If I remember to. xD
