It only allows 6 Sims in a household. Is there any way to have more?

No I have tried, but if you don't want a sim you can drown it just make it sit in the pool for along time and when it starts to get tired it will drown. I didn't know untill I read the paper and it said someone drowned.

Actually I've had more than 6 people it is possible - (Sims 3 / Sims 3 pets).
