Planet Renders is kinda odd now since the site leader left, it should still work just be careful.
I would keep the cool ring effect you have , then place lighting in it to illuminate bulba from behind, then add shadows to the front to complete it, taking off all the junk you have on bulba
Which is more or less what you have just increase it :P
