You guys are full of great ideas. I love playing Minecraft if I had better internet I would play on any server you guys make.

mate thair are plenty of good , exelent and amasing servers out thair. go fined one and get a feel of server styled minecraft. i would name some . but last time i checked all my adreses for the servers thay were no longer around . i dont play on servers now. i just play vanila minecraft on my pc . and i play a vershion that is so far removed from minecraft you cant realy call it that now. i am a fan of the clasic minecraft aswell. but agen all the good servers disaperd. allong with some of my best builds.

well thats a fail. i think. the pc vershion is so modable even i probaly with the right programs manige to mod the game. but i dont and will not try. well not just now. becouse as of this monday i will be spending 3 week in china.good night corn'o'the cob

The layout changes - to be honest I can't really see the problems or a better way to do the navigation bar practically.
We do communicate with our members more with facebook rather than email. But we will plan some targeted emails (we have too many addresses to mailshot everyone - and would be spam flagged for sure - a lot of people from years ago don't remember signing up or would flag us as spam - we can't risk that).
Contests, we'll get one sorted out in September definitely.

Could be a Pokemon Brawl, could be a MVP (most valuable player - where we select the member that has contributed the most value to other users of the website). More than happy to give prize(s).

I'd be happy to organize like a Halo tournament. Also, you could do some tournaments based around some fun multi player games like Brawl, AC, etc.
Something that'd be fun is a Pokemon league. Lucario used to host one on teams and clans, and it was pretty popular.
I'll brain storm some nav bar layouts later I think may work. Don't have to use em, but you can look into em if you want.

Also, regarding the nav bar layout, the ones with drop down menus need to have a default link when people click them. Personally, I find it very annoying to use the drop down as I'd much rather just click to go directly to the forums.
And another point regarding the mass e-mail, you could target users with 200+ posts to narrow the search.
And, pruning the forums with 0 posts in them to delete them would be an excellent decision. There's so many forums that are blank and just there which will never be used. It's intimidating to new forum users.
