Have you watched Cape Fear? I'm talking about the 1991 version (there's an older 1962 version that I haven't seen). Anyway, it has Robert De Niro and is directed by Martin Scorsese so you know it's good. I watched it a few months back and just felt so creeped out afterward. It's a "psychological thriller" so the stuff that happens isn't scary in the sense that ghosts pop out at you or anything like that, but scary in the sense that crazy people like that can and do exist. It just makes you wonder.

'Cape Fear' is a wonderful movie. As with many De Niro movies.
I love psych thrillers a lot. I think... five years ago, maybe, would have been the first one I watched - Called 'Stay' starring Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor. Great movie as well. Though not as 'psych thriller' as I used to think.

Has anyone seen Chernobyl Diaries? I can't decide if it looks good or looks super cheesy. It doesn't have amazing reviews but I am well aware that a lot of those reviews come from movie critics that can't just watch a film simply for entertainment.

I've seen it. Pretty creepy. They get trapped in Chernobyl and start to get radiation sickness. And (apparently) one on the symptoms is hallucinations so they don't know what they are really seeing.

I just watched Oculus (I think that's the correct spelling). It was more creepy than scary. It's about this supernatural mirror that can make people do it's bidding, can kill dogs, kills plants, changes video & creates illusions.

I'm terrible at explaining things, so just look up a review of it.

I generally don't watch many horror films if they don't contain zombies.

I liked Scream, though. And Tucker And Dale Vs Evil ;)

Well, it was supposed to be sort of parody that remains within the genre, I suppose. It did have funny moments (mostly involving the Randy character)

It basically depends on what type of horror you prefer. If it's supernatural then Paranormal Activities are the kings and queens and um The Ring II

But if you prefer bloodshed stuff then I've got somethings in my bag
Hostel
Saw
The Hills Have Eyes
Friday the 13th
1408
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Sixth Sense (it was alright)

I don't have the best of them, but these are the ones I highly recommend.
