Never in my life would I poke fun at soldiers or impersonate one. I have the utmost respect for them and what they do and give up every single day. So many men and women have given their lives so us as Americans can have our freedom and that is something I'll never be able to repay them for or say thank you for because it wouldn't be enough. Families lose sons, daughters, fathers and mothers every single day, because they made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us in this country. Especially during WW1 and WW2, and if you think that a day goes by that I am not thankful for that or thankful for what they gave for us, and thankful that my great grandfathers fought for what we have, you are terribly mistaken.
That is why I hate guns and hate violence. Maybe I don't have guts or whatever, but I will die before I ever look in another person's eyes and kill them for something as stupid as hate or misunderstanding. The only time killing someone would even be partially acceptable would be if someone threatened the people I love.
I'm not going to lie, what you said really hurt, and no one will probably ever understand why it hurt, but it did.
I got sad and then I got mad, but it's fine now. After typing all this I'm fine.
I am just done with trying to be nice to people like you who are constantly jerks and have done nothing to even warrant me wanting to be their friend. I just wanted to be your friend Jake, that's all. It was naive and I'll stop trying.
