I've read reports that Putin may stand down because of health issues which is a bit worrying as I have no idea who is going to replace him and what his stand against the west is. It's like that old saying 'The better the devil you know'.
I still can't get my head around Trump and Farage being friends who enjoy each others company. A bit worrying to be honest...
I was just reading through what Trump intends to do when he becomes President and am wondering if he is being realistic. Economists say it would take him at least twenty years with his proposals to turn the US around but Trump thinks he can do it in 18 months. If people don't see something happen fast when he gets inaugurated as President they are going to realise he blagged his way to the White House and caused social unrest while doing it.
First he said Obamacare will only be modified, not removed. Now parts of the Great Wall of America will actually be the Great Fence of America. I'm glad he's toning things down though.

Fence???? I thought there already was a fence on the border between Mexico and the US? So now there's not going to be a wall, he hasn't even been inaugerated yet and he's already backtracking. Trumps not going to see out his term as President, the public are going to realise he hoodwinked them and all he was interested in was being the worlds first trillionaire.
The last few times I've seen Trump on the TV he has looked stressed. I'm beginning to think the whole thing was some kind of ego trip for him and he didn' t really think he was going to win and now that he has the realisation that he is out of his depth has hit him.
