What's the best series currently on TV at the moment? Everyone raves about 'Game of Thrones', I haven't seen an episode, is it that good? Is the Daredevil series any good?
Game of Thrones is too popular for me to even care enough to watch an episode. XD
I don't really have a favorite at this point. SVU has gone down hill ever since Chris Meloni left, and that really only leaves Family Guy and American Dad (but that's just for laughs). Honestly, I'm more interested in watching sports than any current tv series, even baseball or golf.
I heard that there have been a few rumors to bring Dexter (Showtime) back, but even though it was one of my favorite shows ever, I just can't see it reclaiming its former glory. The last couple of seasons felt forced to a certain extent, and I just don't want to see a shows continue to be made when it really has no justifiable reason to (and that goes for all series IMO). No need to bleed the dead turnip anymore.
I dont really watch that much TV. Im catching up with Once Upon a Time. I used to watch Bones but I lost track Big Bang but I lost track Greys Anatomy but I lost track
Stupid work
Thanx to Craizen for the sig, love ya babe, Hubby for the avi.
The Americans (cold war drama) & Orphan Black (sorta Science-fiction) are really good, and I recently watched the last ever episode of The Good Wife (political & legal show). I also watch Suits (legal) but it's on its break now. Big Bang Theory became a real nothing show to me.

The Aussies punished the Brits in 1986 by giving us 'Home and Away' and 'Neighbors'. I wonder if they get some of our garbage like 'East Enders', Coronation Street, and Emmadale Farm in return?
I didn't know Showtime were thinking about bringing back Dexter,I wonder what direction they will go with it because like Warrior13 said the last coupe of seasons were a bit repetitive.
The series I really enjoyed were 'Breaking Bad' and the 'Sopranos'. No chance of either of those two being brought back.
As far as I am aware most people in the UK and Europe have some kind of device whether it is a satelite or a box that enables them to view literally hundresds of channels. How many channels do do people who live in Australia and New Zealand get?
Only 20! If you brought a satelite dish can you pick up other countries broadcasts, like Japan for example? What about Sky and US TV, how would you go about picking them up, you must be able to access those channels via the internet?
We need paid TV for anything close to those (Foxtel we call it). The ones we get for free that I can think of include:
ABC 1 - Mostly weird Aus shows & some overseas stuff. ABC 2 - Mostly weird Aus shows & some overseas stuff. ABC 3 - Mostly kids shows. SBS - Overseas shows. 7 - One of three main channels with mix of Aus and overseas shows. 9 - One of three main channels with mix of Aus and overseas shows. 10 - One of three main channels with mix of Aus and overseas shows. 11 - Channel 10's spin-off channel with shows owned by them. One - Whole bunch of weird stuff. West TV - Mix between advertising shows or fishing. NITV - Indigenous shows etc (Aboriginal). 4WDTV - Channel about 4-wheel drive cars. 7Two - One of three of Channel 7's spin-off channels. 7Mate - One of three of Channel 7's spin-off channels. 7Flix - One of three of Channel 7's spin-off channels, but mostly shows movies or reject TV shows. 9GO - One of three of Channel 9's spin-off channels. 9Gem - One of three of Channel 9's spin-off channels. 9Life - One of three of Channel 9's spin-off channels, but mostly shows trashy reality or renovating shows. Double J (Radio)

Article I read a couple of days ago about how the previous trend for Brits to emigrate to Oz for the weather / lifestyle has been reversing more recently with a lot of them deciding to come home. (Boomerang Brits they were called). One of the reasons cited for their decisions to return (only one of many though) was how bad Australian TV was.
