Check upon the IP address of Tom's accounts and see if they all match up one and the same IP.

The IP Addresses change all the time and are unreliable. It's like one time Tommy & ur IP Adresses were near identical but then they weren't.

So he either goes around from location to location to use different IP addresses or his machine has a rotating IP? Do does this mean Tommy is also from the Perth metropolitan suburbs also?

Just depends how your ISP routes to servers. Your IP is always not the same, even though you see your router IP address, that isn't your true IP address.
