Soo another movie thread.. im clearly out of touch as I hadn't seen anything about this recently, although I remember hearing about it a while ago. There is an assassins creed movie out today. Another movie from video game flop possibly but this has Michael Fassbender and marion cotillard. And it looks like the story has been adpated / changed so hopefully it will be a good fit for the cinema. I don't know the director Justin Kurzel, but the trailer looks interesting.

Sorry, I meant another "movie from a video game" flop (as in a bad movie made from a video game). Yes it was a good series, I enjoyed playing the first 3 or 4 anyway. I did give up after that though.

I reckon it will do better than Prince of Persia as the film came out after the games were losing their touch. The last game as far as I was concerned was a more complicated version of Pac Man. Michael Fassbender is rawr so that may help. In terms of storyline there is plenty a screenwriter could do with Assassins Creed.
Thanx to Craizen for the sig, love ya babe, Hubby for the avi.
You're right testuser, it does look interesting, I'm not sure about the futuristic elements though. I'd personally prefer it if it was just a decent story set during the Spanish Inquisition.
