Has anyone else here signed any, either in real life or online? I probably should sign more, I'm sure there are some pretty bad things happening. Do you think signing them actually contributes, considering you're just one more signature out of thousands, & even if it reaches its target, action may not even happen?

I sign its close to my heart and I think that a mere petition will do some good. There is no point making a petition about ending world poverty. You need to fire a good few thousand politicians to do that.
Thanx to Craizen for the sig, love ya babe, Hubby for the avi.
...I swear I posted here in response to Momma, critising you.
There's always time for a first. Like, for example, you could potentially sign a petition that may/may not stop people you don't give a sh!t about in a region you don't give a sh!t about from quite possibly being abducted, tortured, & supposedly killed.
You're probably right though.
But then again, I'm sure there are slightly more meaningful petitions that will actually make a difference.

Actually, petitions DO work. Not all the time, but if a significant amount sign, it puts public pressure in the spot light and can, and has, created real change.
There?s been a few that I?ve signed on AllOut they?ve released jailed homosexuals in countries where its death to be gay, changed laws etc etc.
<3 to Craizen for the Avatar & TheLlama for the Signature.
