What do you believe in/support/do when it comes to what's on your mind? As in if you're feeling like crap, do you tell people 'Damn life really sucks lately' or do you just carry on cause you feel there's no point making your problems other people's problems. And how do you think others should act when it comes to sharing their feelings?
I like to mix and match when it comes to this. If you had asked me this 1 or 2 years ago I would've answered completely in support of full emotional expression for others, and mainly myself. These days I still think emotional expression is the better way, but I think some things are ok to be bottled up. Mainly cause I've slowly shifted from expressing a lot of things, to less and less. My theory is like I mentioned above, why make your problems other people's problems.
tl;dr - Do you value emotional expr/suppr for yourself, and for others?

i've learned to like get things out if it's truly affecting my day to day cause i've gotten a better handle on how my mood shifts/anxiety works and it's nice to get things out because of not being able to for a fair part of my life. But if it's not that important i'll like vague tweet/tumblr post and it's a'ight
Interesting. I see a trend with every member in relation to this question. I was the same as you, and now literally every member who posted in this thread has the same view as you.

I'll express it if others can sympathize. "Man this sucks" etc. I'm apparently lousy at expressing satisfaction to my associates. I'm just a pretty steady person at work. However if I get frustrated or sad I can kinda go numb and just focus on the job.
