Is Trump going to run for president again. I hate to say it but Biden seems to be a step backward for the general US citizen, he seems dazed and confused half the time when I see him on TV. Trump was starting to get things moving in the right durection until he got scuppered by Covid. He did upset a lot of people in the process though which wasn't good.

I think he's going to try and run again. Whether he runs or not I don't see Biden running for another turn. They'll trot out Kamala Harris or some other young establishment Dem.

I'd say the average US citizen is doing about the same if they aren't active in the stock market. Stocks did really, really well under Trump and are still doing well under Biden, just less so. And every time a new variant gets announced they dip a bit. But for the average person that's just making a living things are about the same. Inflation is making prices rise and people aren't getting raises to compensate, but it's hard to say how that'd be different under Trump.

I will say as a registered independent that leans right on most issues, I'm more embarrassed when I see Biden speak than I ever was with trump. Biden legitimately looks lost when he's speaking most of the time. I'm not sure how anyone could be confident in Biden as a leader and I've never met one person who actually "likes" him. Every single person I know that supports Biden supports him because he's not Trump, not any specific Biden policy (all of which he has done nothing to implement).

Oh dear, sounds like the situation is worse than I thought in the US. Does Trump have a chance of getting a second term?

I see the case involving Jeffery Epstien, Prince Andrew, and Maxwell's daughter is very quiet. Strange that when you see the list of politicians and famous people who went to the island were Epstien kept the under age girls for his customers pleasure.

I think Trump has a decent shot in 2024. Despite not holding office he still has pretty strong control over the Republican party and a large voter base that is loyal to him over any party affiliation. There are a lot of people that will vote against him no matter what though. I do think Republicans will have an inherent edge in the next election because we will likely be back to in-person voting being the norm and for whatever reason Democrats do not show up to the polls as regularly as Republicans. Whereas the vast majority of mail-in votes were Democratic this past election.

Yeah, I am like Mike (figures, right?) in terms of where I land on the political spectrum.

I get Trump did not have a filter and everyone hated him for the tweets, but man, things were way nice under his thumb. No inflation crisis. No border crisis. No shipping crisis. No oil crisis. No middle east crisis. No China and Russia thinking they can start taking over other countries without being worried about the US stepping in.

The dems did all they could to get Biden elected and obtain political power-force mail in ballots, band together against Burnie again, keep Biden locked away from the public-and it worked. But now the US is stuck with a mentally and physically frail commander in chief who has absolutely now political agenda outside of what everyone around him tells him it is. Its horrible, and anyone with a brain and not wrapped up in being a diehard for either side can see it for what it is.

Biden has expressed multiple times that he wants to run for re-election, which is downright laughable. Trump would eat him alive, especially when it appears mail in ballots will not be allowed in lost states after the bad rap those four or five larger cities gave it by being so slow and not welcoming observers. But I do not think Biden would even earn his partys nomination at this point, something that has only happened once in history. What would be more of a mockery: losing to the guy you beat, who is one of the most polarizing figures in the history of politics, because you failed at basically every policy OR not obtaining the re-election nomination from the party you are the head of?

Pretty much. 3 years is a long time and I don't see how anyone can think Biden will be able to rule for 4 more years after that. I'm not sure who the Dems would trot out. Bernie is even older than Biden, and all of the other primary candidates are both unlikeable and would get destroyed by Trump. The default option really does seem to be Kamala Harris, who to me has nothing going for her except being the first Woman/Black Woman/Asian Woman that matters to certain people.

Kamala Harris would get crushed by Trump. People hate her more than Biden. She was not run out of the democratic race first for no reason - people see how fake she is. She only got into office because people did not like Trump; not really something you should feel proud of.

Do you really think we will see a female president of the US in our lifetime? I have my doubts, I think the powers that be will not let it happen. I hear Megan Markle is thinking about running for the presidency. Markle is the Suits actress who married Prince Harry and run off with him to the US because she didn't like life as a Royal.

I think if it was going to happen, it was going to be Clinton. I can't see Harris or Markle ever being President; they are not like by A LOT of people. Maybe AOC has a shot if they US just wants to throw everything away by becoming a socialist nation.

I agree, Hilory Clinton will be the closest the US will get to a female president for a long while. It was only the email scandal that damaged her credibility with the public that ultimately let Trump sneak in the back door. Something devious and conniving about that woman, that fake smile never fooled me, that woman is ruthless.

Maybe if there was a more candid and authentic woman nomination it would happen. Hillary was fake, Harris is even more fake.

Exactly, the problem is that woman at the moment is nowhere to be seen and it could be a long time before she appears. Hilary Clinton only got to where she was through the connections of her husband Bill, the next female candidate would have to come through on a similar path and I don't think Michelle Obama or Tiffany Trump fit the bill.

Michelle might win if she ever ran. Ivanka Trump might also win if she ever ran. Both are way more popular than Clinton and Harris.

Michelle Obama is immensely popular. I think she of all the women would have the best shot. Elizabeth Warren is too radical and Amy Klobuchar is too boring. Ivanka has the downsides of Trump without his personality and fan base backing her up. Hillary is done. Kamala is too fake. AOC has kinda fallen off the radar and her rep is tarnished since she has kind of fallen into line as a normal rich "progressive" Democrat. The problem with being the first woman to be president is that a lot of these people campaign on the fact that they are a woman and that should be enough to vote for them. And I think the vast majority of people don't care about the gender anywhere near as much as the media likes to imply.

It's really not looking great for women in the near future, but people do tend to pop up out of nowhere.

I think Ivanka would have a shot. Let's be real: most woman love her personality, and any girl would want to be her. lol

Nikki Hailey might have a shot, but she wouldn't dare to run against Trump if he so did so in 2024.

I'm honestly hoping that Tulsi Gabbard will flip to Republic and run with Trump. I think she would be perfect for him. Plus, they could have merchandise that says TNT (Trump N' Tulsi) They're Dynamite! XD

I really liked Tulsi in the primary debates. I feel like she was one of the only ones that kept it real, and it's a real shame she got dragged through the mud and they called her a "Russian/Chinese plant" for not being 100% on board with all the nonsense.

Same here, which is why I hope she flips. Honestly, I don't know why she hasn't done so already. Most of her party gave her the bird, and she would have the perfect excuse of "I'm flipping because I don't like where the party is heading in terms of socialism". I'm pretty sure Andrew Yang switched to being an Independent recently because of that very reason.

Have you heard the rumors that have been circulating for years that Michelle Obama is trans gender? I've seen a couple of conspiracy videos on YouTube and it does make you wonder. I personally think she is just unlucky she was born with the build of an NFL linebacker.
