Yeah I think it would lead to spam actually.Say know if(just using these as an example)actionshark and xploder were on.Actionshark is on the main site doing a few subs and xploder says"wheres actionshark,it says he's on"and that would be spamming.

Stuff like that is never on these days, though. I'm guessing that some members have been able to tell the differece between legitimate postig and spamming.

New features for the message board are on hold currently, we are trying to fix together a better log in system and a template tweak for the main site, which should be done this week or next hopefully.
