Who's your favourite character?

I beat a Lv. 43 with a lance in CoTS with a Lv. 1 with kunai. It was the 1st time I properly used the kunai and they're pretty good.

I like Nightmare, I OWN people with him. I'm practicing with Cervantes. I just got Abyss, and he's like Zasalamel on steroids. I also like my custom charecter Jack Sparrow, a pirate as well as a black knight.

Pretty cool. The best way to determine a favorite character is to find out who you're best with.

I like Talim and Xianghua

I prefer one of my custom characters who owns all. Aptly named Tom. He is a samurai and uses the katana.

Though I we are choosing from the real characters, I would say either Voldo, Cervantes or Raphael. I'm also pretty good with Nightmare and Rock too.

Custom characters have their advantages, but they're not exactly combo friendly.

The custom characters have their advantages because they are much more simpler to use.

In the COTS mode a character I used a lot was Meiga. The katana style is probably the best, though Eurydice is also useful with her Iron sword style.

Yeah, I like katana's and iron swords as well. They work the best for me.

Nightmare and Mitsurigi.

I like to use Tira, Taki, Maxi, and Ivy. Those are my favorite characters.

Siegfried. Most likely because the first time I played Soul Calibur III, that's who I played as. So, I guess you could say I have a soft spot for him.
Although, Mitsurugi is another favourite. Always has been since Soul Blade.

I played as Siegfried first too, but Kilik became my favorite character. And I love your avy and sig haha.

Thanks, yours are good, too. I must admit; Kilik is an excellent player to control, but face him, and you're in a bit of trouble (on Ultra Hard anyway). Kilik is strong, fast, and, equip him with Soul Calibur and you're pratically unbeatable. But, to me anyway, Kilik can't take as much damage as most characters. I destroyed him yesterday with Siegfried, granted, he may have got a few good shots in on me, but that was nothing Siegfried couldn't of handled. That's why if I come up against Kilik, I tend to use stronger characters that still have a bit of agility, Siegfried, Mitsurugi, etc.

Talim isn't bad either. I was surprised at how strong she was, considering her rather light frame. I remember when I first went up against her, and God was I complacent. Worst mistake I ever made on Soul Calibur III. So far.

Cervantes gave me a run for my money in COTS, however. Valakai (created character), against Cervantes. What a match it was, luckily I had Siegfried's Soul Calibur, which slowly regenerated my health, giving me a slight advantage.

Zasalamel isn't too great. I find that by using quite quick characters, and manouvering around him, it makes him as useless as a chocolate fire guard. Which is most likely why I don't like Nightmare too much. He has too much power and not enough speed for my liking.

Overall, Siegfried is still number one. Although, Kilik is slowly climbing the ranks of my favourite characters.

I Loved Charade in SCII and i was so angry when he wasn't in the third one, then i found Ocladan! Yay ocladan! My second fave is Raphael then Voldo.

My favorites are my created guy and nightmare.but do olcadan and charade even count as charecters i meen they just use everyone elses weapons.

True, but what else would you call them?

I like Olcadan. At all. Every character has a specific weapon, and, specific weapons. I can get used to their weapons, fighting styles and techniques; combine them with my skill for the game, and that's how you use a character. But, with Olcadan, since he's always changing weapons, I can never get good with him.

My faves are:
the chinese girl (name escapes me. It started with an X)
Taki
Cassandra
Sophitia
Tira (even though she really scares me. lol)
