"Perhaps a different approach is needed," suggested Wolf. "Instead of destroying each individual cyborg, we should strike at the source."

"Same idea, but ive had trouble finding the original source..." Firebird explained. "I mean, ive downed loads of labs but it doesnt help if mroe labs are being made still..."

"Did you bother to raid these labs while you were 'downing' them?" Wolf enquired. "There's bound to be something that'll lead us to the source in one of them."

"I have an idea." stated Zero. "Usally machines would have imprints of thier creator on thier hardware, so maybe if we checked a cyborgs core and it`s equipment maybe we just might find the source." said Zero getting up.

"You would have a point, but the problem is that for a few years now the cyborgs have been creating each other..." Firebird explained. "So even if they had left traces of there origins, itd only lead us to more cyborgs."

"So if cyborgs create cyborgs the previous ones must be thier leaders." "If we could only find at least one of thier leaders it would lead to the source of these things." said Zero.

"And I think I know how we can find their leaders," Wolf commented, grinning. "Who do you think hired me?"

"Thats my point." said Zero. "You have to look back at what you said." "It`s what gave me that idea." stated Zero.

"Only problem is, I've got a bad memory for names," admitted Wolf. "So this could take a while."

"I knew you were unreilieable." said Zero shaking his head. "You have any memory banks in that head?"

Grge got up, "If I know cyborgs" he started, "They'd want to look better than us at any chance they got. Naturally they'd want to compete with each other as well, so on that note, have you checked your gun arm for any signs of a manufacturer's name? Mark? address? I'm sure there's bound to be something of that sort on you somewhere..." he added, reffering to Wolf.

"I've had it for about a year, kid," Wolf said bluntly. "If there was anything, I'd know about it by now. And how many times do I have to tell you before you'll realise that the cyborgs have nothing to do with me? I was reconstructed by the Novonians, not the cyborgs."

"Since you were hired by the cyborgs, it must have been thier leaders who hired you." "If any of thier ruffiaans hired you,I am very sure that someone would have been executed." said Zero.

Greg looked at Wolf wide eyed, "You mean to say there are no cyborgs ruling thses novians?" he asked, "How lovely their life must be, or must have if you killed them which I've a hunch you did..."

"At the time when I was rebuilt, there was no threat from the cyborgs in the Novon system," Wolf said flatly. "There's no point in going back there now, because I destroyed one planet of the system and the cyborgs caved in the other two."

"There goes my lead..." sighed Zero. "Any other bright ideas out there?" asked Zero sarcasticly.
