new, everything?

how many different suits of armor r available in this game compared to the original? the last quest that i beat was save the archeologist, 4 the 2nd time. so i haven't made it to the northern wastes,yet. please spoil it 4 me & tell me what's ahead!

Yes, it was like 510 or something. Now it is like 200. The Solus Greatsword is stronger than the Sword of Aeons.

I think they wanted to bring down the Damage of the Sword Of Aeons in TLC so it was no longer the Best Weapon; Avo's Tear now has the same Damage of 230 as the Sword Of Aeons; The Solus Greatsword as Undead Minion correctly said is stronger than the Sword Of Aeons with 314 Damage; other Melee Weapons worth checking out in the TLC; The Bereaver with Damage of 285; The Murren Greathammer with Damage of 270; and The Sentinus with Damage of 256.

i guess the good thing about avo's tear is that it's light as opposed to the others mentioned. maybe they just wanted you to be able to make the choice of being good or evil based on the path you wanted to take and not on the weapon that has the most power.

They could have made both Swords 550 like the first Fable. I still prefer the Solus, you can't swing it as fast but it seems to me that you don't get blocked as much with a heavier weapon.

i don't know about all that. those balverines are pretty fast. but either way, if you know how to block, swinging either sword is easy. i think that a 550 sword would be awesome.

I don't usually block, I fight and use a lot of magic.

i don't like blocking either. but if you're in a tight spot and you don't have any potions, blocking is the way to go. when i first started playing, i always ran out. now i hardly ever use my potions. i just sell them. i haven't been killed in a very long time.
