heh......
my blaziken Singe, has to be the most sexist pokemon out there. ive had her for nine months. during this time, from her transformation from torchic to combusken(where oh where did those days go??????) to blaziken, i was planning on one day breeding her. well i did, and she had a boy. and a boy. and a boy (x 10)!!!!!!!!!!!!! no girls. i even tried breeding her to my ditto, tricki. augh! no girls. so, i was trying every field type male pokemon i had......fire,normal, etc. i even tried a nuzleaf, and she loved him.....still, no girls. so, four weeks ago, my friend ( a fellow pokemon enthusiast) said, "well, why don't you breed her to your ditto again?" well, i did, and to my luck, for the first time in nine months, she had a girl, whom i named Sizzle-gentle natured.
one thing i dont get- how does a pokemon thats brave (singe) that mates with a pokemon thats jolly produce a gentle baby? oh, well...... and me being the dummy released sizzle..... god, i feel salty. but she shall breed again............

natures are random but some breeding tips GET A DITTO simple as that (unless you want to produce egg moves)

Natures are random. And all of the starters are usually male, it's quite rare to get a female.

actually it is easy to get a female starter just keep on restarting the game until you get one

actually, you are quite wrong, theres a %12.5 chance that you will get a female torchic.

Actually, there's a chance that the nature of the baby will be the same as that of the mother if you attach an Everstone to the mother.

uh, i didn't really mean the nature, however, her nature never spread to her offspring. ever. out of 100 torchics. but i was saying the gender of her babies. sheesh. but i was lucky to get a female torchic the very first time i started my emerald game! on my birthday, no less!!!!! XD

its just rare to get female starters. i think game freak/nintendo try to prevent breeding by making it rare to get female starter pokemon.
