I'm just interested: How do you get those "Private" "Sergeant" etc. ranks? I've seen a lvl 13 with one so it can't be hard.

you need to go to a battleground found in stormwind keep and kill some of the horde members while in it, the best one for starters is war sung glutch so try getting in there.

Yes, after about 25 Honorable Kills you should become Private after the next update.

Yeah, keep recieving honourable kills and you'll rise the ranks, i'm at Private at the moment :(

I am at Corporal with Daltoso, which isnt that good but I concentrate mostly on PvE than PvP.

I hardly ever play WoW in PvP, I am concentrating on instances and levelling up Balran.

There are also bonuses with the ranks. If you get to Sergeant before level 40 then you get 10% off, if you are honored with a city/town you get an extra 10% off, so it'd be good for your mount by getting 20% off

That shouldn't be too difficult, just make sure you have enough HK, you can estimate it by looking at your honor bar.

After you gain that rank, you will have to keep on PvPing to keep it.

Congratulations, I don't know why it goes down but it does and if you don't PvP that often it will go down dramatically.

It shouldn't as long as you keep doing PvP, but as GBR said, it can sometimes fall rapidly if you don't do them for a while.

Yeah, and if you get to an officer rank (which is kinght I believe) you can access the officer room in Stormwind City.
