You don't get it.
There was no need for the spirit bomb.
Gohan, with his Mystic upgrade, was revived. Why couldn't Goku gotten Gohan to the planet? Kid Buu was weaker than Super Buu, and Gohan totally owned him.
Well, at least Vegeta got some time to shine.

It was probably because the fans wanted Goku to win (like always)
and because Vegeta fans wanted him to get some action.
Ive never seen a show so loyal to the fans.And yes Gohan beat Cell and Super Buu so he shud have had no problem beating Kid Buu.

No, just because Kid Buu was smaller does not mean he was stronger. In the show it sais how he got much stronger after he turned into Kid Buu.

According to the Ki lvls i saw on the offical website,Kid Buu is second strongest,while Mystic Buu (absorb Gohan) was the strongest

Kid Buu was one of the weakest Buu's around. WHY do you think he absorbed people? According to your logic, he'd end up getting weaker. This was only so when he absorbed the Dai Kaioshin and turned into Fat Buu.
This is why I said the ending was ****ed up. They had to completely alter it so Goku would win. It doesn't make ANY sense.

PEOPLE, WE ARE LOSING THE PLOT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry, just thought i'd say hi! at the end of dbgt (although i kinda missed some of it) goku kills li shenron with a spirit bomb, with was gathered from the whole universe and from all the planets they visited in order to reclaim the black star dragonballs, and then goku was absorbed into the balls and is now a part of shenron.
