No, but if you don't want the infamy from the D.B. you can do the Azura's Shrine quest in the main story and you'll most likely be infected by vampirism.

lol, i hated being a vampire. I never noticed that i got the disease, and ppl started treating me like crap and then the sun almost killed me. I was like WTF IS GOING ON.
Bethesda makes the best games ever. The Elder Scrolls games rock harder then any other game ever. I like Heavy Metal and Death Metal. My favorite band is DevilDriver.

How did you not know that you didm't have Vampirism? And do you know a cure to Helljoint, that doesn't involve the temple because I have been shunned from the temple.

I never saw the porphyric hemophelia come up on the screen. I got it from the gutted mine in azuras shrine...and i was so focused on defeating the orcs...i didn't pay attention. The orcs were like hell for me, it was either dying or getting the disease that made me hav to reload the game and put me back at the beginnning of the cave. I must have missed it coming up once.
p.s. you can prolly heal helljoint at one of the temples in the cities. I can't remember which ones cures diseases. I think either Anvil or Cheydinhal.

ive been a vampire in all my games by accident because of the gray prindes missions and i hate it.you cant go in the sunlight.though the boosts help.but being a warewolf isnt bad at all.

You can't be a werewolf in Oblivion. Also, just don't do the Grey Prince's mission. I think that is what you were trying to say.

The best way for me to avoid becomming a vampire is just carry a couple of cure disease potions with me.When I get done with the vampire lair/cave I take one. You have to sleep to activate the vampirism so just take a potion before sleeping.
Then when my restoration is at 50 just buy the cure disease spell from a chapel. Just make it a habbit to cure yourself after battleing vampires.

Yeah, on one profile I didn't want it I had it and I went to a chapel in great sadness and then I got cured from it. I was so happy. You see, I didn't know that you could get it cured from a chapel.

Welcome back Amalexa and also Cerberus, I have the limited edition, nothing ever mentioned about a werewolf. MAybe you could show me some solid proof? Sorry, but I just can't beleive you yet. You might understand. But anyway. I just went like a week without feeding on my vampire profile and my guy is sooooo strong now. But I get anihilated if I step into sunlight.
