I go to birth island (Yes I cheated) and I try to catch Deoxys but there's this triangle thing there instead. I go up to it and it jumps so I go to it and it moves back to the middle. Then I try again but this time it jumps to the top when I touch it a second time. So far I've gotten it to jump about 5 times but I need to know what I'm supposed to do here. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Try it from different angles. You have to go fast to, you can't pause.

approach the triangle at each move in a way which will bring you to it in the least number of steps...and then you will battle Herr Deoxys

Ummm...I have the guide to that somewhere, but I'll have to look for it. But just approach the triangle by the route that'll take the fewest amount of steps. Don't take any unneeded steps.

Well I had posted that i figured it out after some more trial and error and got Deoxys (Level 70 now) but a certain someone deleted the post. It's nice to see that people were willing to help though :D.
