Well, I was just wondering what resolutions everyone uses?

I use 1280x1024 because it fixes lots of errors you can get with 1024x768 such as pages being distorted. I had lots of issues on my website, and changed resolutions lots of times.

Then when I was swapping around between resolutions, I realised how much crisper everything was in a bigger resolution, and I jsut prefer it.

I know someone who has a resolution of about 2500x1750

Oh, if you've never changed your resolutions, chances are you use 1024x768 ;)

Finally a topic I can brag in!

1680x1050

I find it sad for people to run there computers at 1024x768.. I just want to scream when I see people with 800x600..

My recommended specs:

15" Monitor: 1024x768 (Some computers, dependent on your graphics can run at 1154x812 or something similar)

17" Monitor: 1280x1024, this is what saddens me, people who run 1024x768 on a 17" monitor.

19" Monitor: You can probably get away with 1280x1024...

21/22" Monitor: 1680x1050

24" Monitor: 1900x1600

Any bigger than that and you're just a rich *******... Cry..

Lol agreed. The maximum resolution I can get is 1280x1024 on a 17"

I would like a 21" monitor though, great for gaming ;)

Word of advice - Don't go to 800x600 after using a higher resolution because it looks so damn pixellated :P

I have a 22". They're cheaper for some reason... But its way cool for gaming. After using a 17" for years its like "Woah..."

1280 x 1024. My graphics card doesn't go any higher and I don't see why I need it to, either.

I'm sure you should be able to get more.

While on your desktop, right click on the background, go to properties.

Sorry if you already knew this, but I'm just trying to be helpful =) Choose the settings tab and look at the slider. You can change it with that.

If he has a 15" I doubt he'd be able to get higher.

1280x800 Smile It will do for me ... I can't stand anything smaller. And any bigger is too hard to see.

1280x800 just like Rich. Widescreen is so nice. Especially on Macs.
