I had a pretty bad experience in eigth grade where I broke my right arm in two or three places. It took 10 weeks to heal... Apparently my bones take much longer than normal to heal and a compound fracture like that was lucky to heal quickly in my case. Because of this I had to learn to write with my left hand! I still do to this day... I play sports and throw balls and things with my right hand still though.
