Hey! I am having some trouble with my Age Of Mythology pc Game.I 've lost the instruction booklet, and I don't know how to play online. Anyone that owns the game, pleeeeaaase help me .

I don't have it but on most games it should be a type of game mode. Hope I helped

Well, it's got a mode called "multiplayer" and when I click, it has got 2 options "online" & "LAN/Direct IP. If I choose online it says that it connects to ESO and it starts downloading something very,very slowly.Now if I click on LAN/Direct IP, it gets more complicated and it is difficult to describe if you do not have the game.

Maybe it's downloading something u need to play online.

Ok, in the Lan/DirectIP thing it has got an option where you can host a game and another one where you have to type an IP address. I don't know what that IP Address is and I am confused. PLEASE Help! ANYONE

I had the same with Command & Conquer series, never could use it either, now they stoped online gaming...pitty

LAN means Local Area Network. IT only works if you're connected over a network with other PC's in your house. The Online button is the only way to play ONLINE.

As already said - just go to the multiplayer section - don't select the IP option - choose the other one. Then start a new account.

To properly play online you must download the thing it starts to download, Do not press the windows button and do something else or it will stuff up just let it do its thing then create your new account and your done!

Ive always just gone to multiplayr in the main menu, online, then just made an account, i never had to do much more than that.

you may need to disable your firewall to let it connect to ESO (Ensemble Studios Online) or else it took me about 5 hours to get connected. after that, make an account and then totally pwn everybody.
