Ofiicial Pokemon Tournament! (No. 1)

[center][b][u][size=14]POKEMON TOURNAMENT (No. 1)[/center][/b][/u][/size]

Ok, i have't seen anything againts this in the rules so here it is. The official Pokemon Tournament! The rules are as follows (I've updated them... again!):

1. There are two catagories in which you may enter your pokemon in. They are the open and ristricted catagories. Ubers [b][i]may[/b][/i] be used in the OPEN catagory, but please state what uber you are going to use. You may only use one unless both parties agrree on more. They may not be used in the restricted catagory. No legedaries may be used in the restricted tournament whatsoever. You may use legendaries in the open division. A list of Ubers is posted below:

Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Latios/Latias(Equipped with Soul Dew), Deoxys (All forms), Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Giratina & Arceus

2. Under each catagory, there are four level catagories. Lv. 30 & under, Lv. 50 & under, Lv. 70 & under and Lv. 100 & under. You may not use a pokemon that does not abide with the level ristriction you wish to enter. [b][u]NO EXCEPTIONS!!![/b][/u]

3. For the time being, you may only enter yourself into a maximum of two catagories so we have enough space.

4. If you would like to enter, post your friend code as well as the catgories (or catagory) you would like to enter.

5. All battles will be organised according to Greenwhich mean time (GMT) to avoid time zone clashes. This week (begining from today and continuing to the 12th May GMT) os registration. Next week we will begin battling. The three weeks following that will be the quater final, semi final and then the grand final. I will post battle times a day before we begin. If you have trouble with this, please post on this thread

6. Hold items are allowed, but you cannot have more than one of that hold item in your team, ie. Snorlax/Hold item: Leftovers, Snorunt/Hold item: Leftovers; would not be allowed.

7. You are not allowed more then one of the same pokemon on a team. This rule doesn't apply to wormadam where you can have diffrent types of wormadam. It does however apply to Arseues.

9. The prize for this tournament will be a turtwig. In future, it would be good if someone else could donate pokemon(s) or items as prizes. Remeber we need 8 prizes for each tournament and they all must be the same.

10. Please post the winner of your particular battle on this forum once it has been completed.

11. I have added the following rules after a suggestion from EspeonDude_:
Sleep Clause - This rule is not a rule as such, (if you break it you won't get disqualified) but it is common courtesy. The rule states that you cannot put more than one pokemon of you oppents asleep at one time. Some people see this as cheap and may ask you to not do this. This does not mean that if your oppeny has a pokemon already asleep they may not use a move that may induces sleep.
Freeze Clause - Same as Sleep Clause, only for Freeze.
Self-KO Clause - This rule is in place to determain who will win in a last pokemon situation. If you happen to get into this situation, you may not use self destruct, explosion or destiny bond.

12. The twelveth and final rule is one that will require some honesty. You may not use pokemon hacked or modified stats or moves. You can use pokemon that you obtained using a hack such as arseus and Drakrai but not with hacked levels, stats or moves. This also means that you may not use a level 30 arseus because it is not possible to catch him unless he is on level 80.

I will go into the level 50 and under open tournament, could also do 30 and under restricted or open whichever . Two questions are are shell bells and leftovers usable in this tournament and is there a limit on the number of pokemon usable?

Wafflesnotsyrup, I will add you and you may use whatever items you please as long as you don't have the same item on diffrent pokemon. I'm gonna update the rules...

What's this all about?

You should add this to the rules, because Legendaries ARE allowed, but not ubers.

1. Sleep Clause - This means you can't sleep more then one Pok�mon. Some people see this as cheap and may ask you to not do this.
2. Freeze Clause - Same as Sleep Clause, only for Freeze.
3. Self-KO Clause - No Self-KO's allowed. If you use Explosion, Selfdestruct or Destiny Bond as your last move, the user who used the move will automatically lose, although the game may program that anyway.
4. Level Type - 50 Single, Double, 100 Single, Double or Free Single or Free Double. You'll know what that means. If you do Free Single and the person tells you their levels are the same as yours, that is when you should really play Free. If they lie, report them here.
5. Ubers - The following Pok�mon are not allowed unless you agree. Please give your opponent a warning before using the following Pok�mon: Mewtwo
Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Latios/Latias(Equipped with Soul Dew), Deoxys (All forms), Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus.
The legendary trios from every generation are COMPLETELY LEGAL. CELEBI, ZAPDOS, ARTICUNO, MOLT RES, RAIKOU, ENTEI, SUICUNE, REGIROCK, REGISTEEL, REGICE, REGIGIGAS, SHAYMIN, MANAHPY, PHIONE, UXIE, AZELF AND MESPIRT ARE LEGAL TO USE!

Hey i'll join the lvl 30 and under tournament. My fc and name is in the sig. Also, since I think I'll be in the tournament, I'll add anyone who is in the lvl 30 tournament. I think that means I'll be listed under restricted correct? Oh just so ya kjnow, I'll use a Spiritomb lvl 30, and a Drifblim lvl 30. Thats all I have for now, I'm not sure what else I'll use.

isnt spiritomb sorta a legendary... if it is youd need to register under open i think

It's not a legendary, it's just rare. I have 5 of them from breeding.Thats why the Champion has one. Oh, and I'll also be using a Metang lvl 30 and Zangoose lvl 30.

Also, I'll donate a Master Ball as a prize.
