This is my first, so I know it is not nearly good. I skipped the last steps (for the greater detail) because it got too complicated and I just started. So, as a first sketch-taken image filled in with color, how did I do?

"Not nearly good"? WTF? That's awesome.

Its pretty basic. If you see real expert results, or this with the completely finished steps, you'd consider this one one of the worst you've ever seen.

No, that's great. Almost perfect. It's just not complicated, like some I have seen. And get rid of the text btw.

You got some great sketching skills.

Well, I didn't sketch it, if that's what all of you are ranting about that its so "great". I used a lineart. I will never be able to sketch so well. (Although, I do sketch QUITE well)

The text is there like a "signature" for my work, ubt I guess I'll take it out.

You should sign it with a pencil.

Lineart, doesn't that mean you got the base of it off of something and filled in the details?

I believe so. All I got was the sketched-out version of Cloud, and I filled him in with the realistic details!
