i was just wondering, is there any greater chance of hatching a shiny pokemon than finding one in the wild?
I ask this because ever since i started ruby version (including everything on GBA), i have found 2 pokemon shiny in the wild. (ratatta, Machop)
but i have also hatched 2 from eggs. (Pichu, Mudkip)
i don't hatch eggs too much, so i was thinking either it was luck or there is actually a greater chance of hatching one. anyone have any answers?

there's actually a equals or lesser chance of hatching a shiny pokemon in a egg.

I actually just got a shiny Shellos. It didn't take me too long to find a shiny (36 hours).

i got my first shiny like 10 mins into the game it was a geodude lv 5 it was gold so very noticeable

...thats's a normal shellos. it can be either pink and brown or blue and green. trust me. check forms in pokedex. i'm at 126 hrs and still haven't seen one shiny
