Stones.

All I know is that if you show Bills dad a series of Pokemon then he'll give you different stones. I'm after the thunderstone in particular and can't find a staryu (the last pokemon that I need to get the stones) but I head that you could find a thunder stone somewhere else other then talking to him? Is this the case? If so could you post where?
