im guessing there will be some connection to the first three movies, but a few neew characters and something to do with a storyline of an old fairy tale

well the best of the trilogy is the 1st the third one is the wrost of them idk but if i was them i would stop at three and in my opinion 4 is going to be bad.

I haven't seen the 3rd one yet, but I personally feel that once you've made one trilogy you should stop at that unless you are intentionally making another trilogy or something, but most of the time these people don't.

I think that a lot of movies recently seem to be pushing it too far with the number of sequels and such, like they make a nice amount and then make another, just for the sake of making one.

It's been on Wikipedia that they're making it since like well Januray 2007, which was before Shrek the Third was released and it's just called Shreck 4. I want to see "Puss in Boots:The story of an Ogre Killer", it comes out in 2010 like Shrek 4. It takes place between 3 and 4 though.
Dark Boarder should have been an admin ....too bad he left the site.
