Anyone know good metal band? If you do, list them up plzzz! It's my birthday soon and I'm going to make a huge list of music... I don't know many metal bands.... I list up the bands I know right now....
Slipknot, Silenteye, Sonic Syndicate, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica , Hammerfall, Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Slayer, Metallica, No Quarter, Ekmontorf, Dragon Force.

Try Dream Theater out too. They're Progressive Rock, but they are pretty heavy (well, their Train of Thought CD is, and I recommend it).

DT mainly like to play i mixture of styles, but are mainly heavy. But with their ToT album, they decided to make it purely metal

disturbed(some songs), underoath, mastadon, pantera, rob zombie, all that remains, as i lay dying, chimaira, system of a down has some heavy songs.

If you want to listen to heavy metal, then Killswitch Engage is the band for you, they are also the champ in the combat zone as we speak, so if you like heavy metal, the combat zone is full of all types of metal bands etc.

although i hate to admit it, ED_ is right about LP. They're usually classed as nu-metal, which is a sub-genre of Heavy Metal

"USUALLY" is the key word, I don't take them as a heavy metal band, and I know there not, there nothing like heavy metal, heavy metal is like Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Children of Bodom etc, they are the true heavy metal bands, Linkin Park is just a wannabe heavy metal band.
