Pokemon EVs

Just ask what pokemon gives what EVs and I'll tell you.

I would like to know what an EV is, could you please tell me?

Evs are effort values from wild pokemon, like for every 4 EVs you get, it adds a whole point to your main stats, a stat may have a max of 255 EVs, and only a max of 510 EVs are allowed for a single pokemon. For instance, Gardevior gives 3 sp.atk EVs, so killing 100 Gardeviors will give you 300 sp.atk EVs, maxing it out. Hope you understood.

also spinda is good for getting special attack EVs, zubat is good for speed EVs, carvana is good for attack EVs

where is the ev located at in the game???i can't find anything to indicate this system

They only give regular EVs, sorry.

You can't see or count them, they are just points obtained from enemy Pokemon.

when you have 4 EV`s, does the stat just go up, or do you have to level up first?

There are a lot of them I will display some of them for you:

Bulbasaur = 1 EV point
Ivysaur = 1 EV point*
Venusaur = 2 EV points*
Charmelean = 1 EV point*
Charizard = 3 EV points
Butterfree = 2 EV points*
Oddish = 1 EV point
Gloom = 2 EV points
Vileplume = 3 EV points
Gastly = 1 EV point
Haunter = 2 EV points
Ganger = 3 EV points
Zapdos = 3 EV points
Moltres = 3 EV points
Mewtwo = 3 EV points
Ralts = 1 EV point
Kirlia = 2 EV points
Roselia = 1 EV point
Beautifly = 3 EV points
Abra = 1 EV point
Kadabra = 2 EV points
Alakazam = 3 EV points
Jynx = 2 EV points
Magmar = 2 EV points
Porygon = 1 EV point
Horsea = 1 EV point

Well there is more, but that is some of them. These are for special attack EV points only and some of the * ones boost other stats as well.

does it just raise the stat or do you have to level up?

You have to level up to get results, but each time you defeat a Pokemon EV points get factored into your Pokemon; you beat a Vileplume you just added 3 EV's on your Pokemon the more EV's you add on to them the more of a increase you will see when you level up; say if you fight 12 Gloom that is 2 EV special attack points each 2x12 is 24 EV point you get before hitting a level there is 510 EV points in all one base stat could have the maximum of 255; you can only really fully max out 2 type of base stats so be sure to spread them around if you have to. For example this could not happen if you were not to cheat, but this is a sample for you; say if you fought and beat 85 level 4 Charizards 85x3= 255 you would have one whole base stat maxed out before even gaining a level, then from there on out you would be getting major stat increase in that section.

Exactly, like mewtwo, use a cheat to find wild Gardeviors and keep killing them, it's sp.atk will increase substantially.

Without a GS or AR EV training can be very hard.

I know, since I got one though, I kan kill all of those to feed my mewtwo tons of sp.atk, lol.

I don't really care about EV special defence, one Calm Mind it that is made up for.

It's a good attack, my celebi knows it, and on netbattle, I use it for a power-up along with baton pass, and a ninjask to make mewtwo unstopable.
