i can't get the plesioth out of the water for me to hit. My weapon is sentoryu wolf damage 864. i have a eager cleaver also. any ideas how i can slain it?

Is this the desert quest which the plesioth refuses to come out of the water? the one in the cave?

try use sonic bom or paint ball.

yup that is the quest. the plesioth just refuse to come out of the water. i try sonic bomb and paintball but it just ignore me.

Yeah, that quest is ten times easier when you use a bowgun.

bowguns? where do i shoot? which part? when it is in the water, all my shots seems useless. when it jump from one part of the lake to the other, i could not take aim at it. further more it seems to like to stay in the water most of the time.

It does stay in the water most of the time. It is possible to shoot it with explosive shots, when it pops it's head out of the water to shoot it's water jet at you. The explosives, if you hit it, have the same effect as sonic bomb, so not only are you hurting it, you have the possiblilty of getting it out of the water.
The plesioth will, sometimes, come out the water, but it usually takes alot of persuasion.
You can take with you a lot of explsive shots if you take with you sml bone husk and wyvern claw. Combine them to make clust lvl 2. You can have about fity of those shots, so it is usually enough to damage it enough to get it out of the water. On the rare occasions that it does come out of the water, shoot it with thunder and piercing shots.
Of course still throw sonic bombs at it, just to give it that litte extra encouragement to get it's butts out of the water.

you can use a frog to lure it out when it doesnt come out of the water, you can find them just outside the cave in the desert area.

oh frogs ah hmm i give it a try (i think it would prefer me than the frog much bigger in size :P)

like panzerdemon said, frog is the thing that that insane, stupid, ennoying fish gets out of the water.offcourse, sonic bombs help to!!!

Barrel Bombs work too.Just place one small barrel bomb in front of Plesioth,near the water when it has just come out of the water and see the bomb explode and the Plesioth jumping.

im on that quest at the moment use a Bow, with like power coating arrows. it comes out the water constantly with me. I cant get it to go back into the water so i can heal :|
