there is a theives guild mission were It tells me to sweet talk a girl about getting a ring from her.......you are suppost to sneak past this one guard and lockpick a couple of doors....but every time I open the door the guard is right there and catches me......what should I do resist the arrest talk to the girl and then press LT+A to surrender to the next guard.???????

Well one thing you can do is get a 100% chameleon spell. That way you can just sneak in broad daylight and not be seen. Use chameleon though so when you perform an action they cannot see you as the spell continues.

WHat i did was to ask the beggars or the countesses maid and take a secret passage in the castle basement. The switch is in a barrel against the far wall. Just walk through the passage and you will be in the private quarters. Just be careful because sometimes the countess will randomley come through there and attak you. At 10-11 o'clock the countess will be asleep but not for long. The guard should also be gone if not wait or if you have an invisbillity spell use that and go into the jewlery box. quickly run out the same way and you should be done.

That works good too. Also Al, I don't count it as cheating if it was put in the game by default and isn't even a glitch. hehe

The bad part is you need to have 4 grand soul gems at grand soul level.

i guess u could but u need to pay the blood price to get back in the guild. use dupe cheat on health potion and kill them.

Now now you don't need to cheat just to complete a small quest. Just wait in the secret passage and use the chameleon spell like norbie said.

man just join the mages guild its wut i did make some armour and there 100% chameleon then get some soul gems grand then use those or there some shrine were you get 50% chameleon ring

i just went in and i went right up to her opened jewelry box and got it then left didn't see a guard.

It took me a few tries but I used the passage and used invisibility, i also managed to steal a load of stuff from her and the count.

Thats not cheating, it was built into the game on purpose, and they expected people to do that.
