New Type of Arceus?!

Ive heard rumors of an arceus type that is the same as curse, you now the ??? type, how do you get it, or does it even exist

No it doesnt there just talking about missingno because i have every plate and theres no ??? plate.

It's true, it was said on serebii.net, and their still trying to work out how to get it, BUT it's flippen simple to get, I all ready know how ti get him, BUT I will not say how, BUT I will give a clue, the entire story tells you how to get that form, though subtle, it says it as if yelling it out to you,

Wow, I was about to close this. Good job topic-saving, Zircon. There probably isn't a plate for it, unless there is a special event involving it. Maybe the ??? arceus could be given away at events, but they wouldn't make a new arceus sprite for it to never be used.

Zircon's just yanking your chain; you can't obtain it without cheating at this point (confirmed, don't argue)

There's speculation that Nintendo intends to have an item to allow Arceus to change to the ??? type.

As for what the illusive type 18 holds, nobody knows as of yet... some are guessing it'll be a unique dual type, others are claiming it to be superior defensive capabilities (no super effective hits), but these are all speculation...

i know something that would be cool, fwank said it could be a dual type, what if nintendo also released a new key item that you can use to combine plates(which can be edited)to get different dual types!:thumbsup

Well I do like these ideas, but I don't think it helps that Judgement becomes the type Arceus becomes... so a dual type wouldn't be in Arceus's best interest.

A light type is rather random, don't you think? The dark type is a reference to the mischievous nature of the pokemon who are typed dark, not literally because they are of some sort of mystical dark force: attacks of the dark type are often very scheming and under handed (status inducers, stats alterations...)

The dark types almost look evil in a way... the opposite of dark is pretty much psychic types anyway, considering psychic moves are more defensive in nature, and psychic pokemon are more "mental" type pokemon, very fitting oppositions to the "physical" dark types.

Edit: opposite of ghosts are normal pokemon... or anything that's alive.

Meh, this Arceus is going to be unobtainable for a while unless you cheat for it, and I haven't seen any hacks for it so it will probably be given away by Nintendo if it ever is revealed to be real

psychic is not, it dont even affect dark, if there were a light type, then they could both be supereffective to each other.

they wouldnt actually coach, light would effect dark, and dark would be uneffected, its like water and fire, there opposites but water is super effective and fire isnt

Well being super effective with each other isn't exactly a bad thing... it'd be like ghost/normal, none affect each other.

Being super effective on each other can be a huge gamble... like dragons fighting dragons (but you don't do that, because that's dumb...)

A new type doesn't sound wise; the types already create enough strategic game play as it is, a new one may upset the balance of the game... we can think of new dual types, but a brand new type wouldn't be all that great... I still don't understand why they made Curse a ??? type... that just makes things confusing... they could've easily made it a Dark move or a Ghost move... or make them separate moves? Confuzzling...

Back on the ??? type however: probably a type that takes neutral hits from any attack, much like a dark/ghost combination... but at the same time, you won't receive any bonuses from any attacks... Judgement would probably become ??? type, that hits everything for neutral damage... that would be amazing type coverage (and sounds most possible)

and arceus is ownage anyway, i have a hacked one (i didnt hack was given to me)

yeah but couldnt the ??? type be used as a pokemon that has not very effective for all attacks against it
