I seem to have lost my Protector can I get another one in this game or do i have to start a new one??

I'm not actually sure: I know you can't find another one in the normal over world, but you might have some luck with digging in the underground.
I'm not sure though, hopefully someone can confirm this for us; I'm quite curious about this too.
Edit: actually, I've been told you can't have another 1; you'll have to trade for it with somebody, or start a new game to get it... I'm not too sure if it's worth it though.

He probably just forgot where he got it from; no one seems to agree that wild Rhydon's carry Protectors.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you can get Protecters from wild Rhydon. Not positive, but I think I've read it on serebii.

Mmmmmm.....your right. Looks like the only one is in Route 228. I wouldn't restart, though. All it's good for is to get Rhyperior.

you can get more than one as i got 2........... cant remember where i got it from but i did get a second 1..... shame i cant find a second reaper cloth
