Full Metal Alchemist

The story begins about two brothers, Alphonse and Edward Elric. Ever since they were young they had practiced the science of alchemy. You follow their journey of being alchemists and their quest to regain that which they have lost.
Their father was a well recognized alchemist, which is probably where their knack for it comes from. However, when they were young their father left, and they remained in the care of their mother. One day their mother died, and in their innocence and ignorance, they attempted what was forbidden, human alchemy.
What happened next, they were obviously not prepared for, and in the aftermath the brothers lost more than just their mother. In the freak accident Alphonse loses his body, and in a moment of panic Edward ties his brother's soul to a piece of armor. Edward himself loses an arm and a leg, a costly reminder of what has happend.
The story begins and details the brother's journey to find a alchemy amplifier so that they may return to their normal bodies



Edward Elric

Edward Elric, the older of the two brothers, is charactaristically short. But following the principles of equvalent trade, what he loses in height, he gains in his abilities as an alchemist. Edward becomes the youngest state alchemist in history, a prodigal genius.

Alphonso Elric

Alphonse Elric is the younger brother to Edward. He too has a profound knack at alchemy, but is not a state alchemist, which allows him to do certain things that Edward cannot do.



Hohenheim

Hohenheim is the father of the protagonists, Edward and Alphonse Elric. He is a brilliant and well-known alchemist. He left Ed, Al, and their mother Trisha when Al was a baby and Ed was very young. Years later, Ed still holds a grudge against him for abandoning his mother, which he believes contributed to her death.

there is only a couple problems with that introduction you need to post their fathers name and you need a picture of Alphonse in his human state

The intro is quite good, good work.

Ok I put in their father but I couldnt fit in Alphonso's human state.

yea the intro is really good...and the anime is good but a bit confusing....its also more mature than naruto and bleach...its still pretty good

I've watched all the episodes and the movie.

One of my favourite animes out there. Ed had a cool personality, though Al kinda annoyed me. I liked the whole plot idea, too, with the Philospher's Stone and all.

Yea the whole study of alchemy is pretty cool.

The movie was so awesome!

I'm glad they got re-united at the end. It was cool.

The manga is really cool too.

the manga is different from the anime...cuz the anime already ended and the manga is still going

I usually always like the manga better than the anime for some reason.

I like the fact the manga keeps going. Lol it'll give me something to do.

The anime is alright, but I can't stand Al. The manga is good, which is why I didn't read he whole thing.

I saw all the eps, and the movie as well, the show, and the movie were awesome. Al was kinda annoying, but for the most part, he had good intentions, but I still think he's annoying.

I didn't know the manga was still goin on, I'll have to pick up a copy of it.

My only chance for some of the manga is a store in our mall. -shudders-

But yeah, I think everyone here can agree Al was annoying. T_T

I liked Schiezka (sp?) the cute librarian...she made me giggle.

I like the show, but I never have any time to see it anymore.

Last episode I saw, Al had the philosopher's Stone in his chest cavity.

oh, that's when it gets good, and sad, and then good again.

I guess that's how you spell it LF, I thought she was kinda creepy.

And I didn't like how Winry kept hitting ed with that wrench, if she hit me with it, that b*tch would have got KTFO.

Yeah, btw. I met his father on the Central Park, he says that Ed's nose is quite big.
