Tragic News about my pal, Eight :(

First of all, he's a cat. I think of him more of a human than a cat actually, considering he does alot more human things then cat things. Second of all, I'm gonna give you a little backstory.

Anyways, I found Eight as a stray sometime in May. He looked starving so I gave him food and water. Eventually, he just stuck around our house. We tried to find who he belonged to, but no such luck. The reason I called him Eight is because...
1.) Eight planets lined up that night
2.) You know how they say cat's got nine lives? When I found him it looked like he used one already.
3.) It's orginal
Now, in order for Eight to stay at the house, he had to be an outside cat. He's real poofy, but slim. He is always calm, unless an unknown cat comes into his territory. That's normal for tomcat, to wander off for awhile and fight with other cats. This is where the tragic news comes in...

I came home tonight, had to go get new contacts. So, while I was going up the steps, I saw Eight jump up them. It was dark, so I didn't see his ear or leg. When I did his right (my left) ear was real bloody. His right leg wasn't so bad, it's just that last week it just healed from him spraining it. So it musta su*ked for him.
Now, I can't show pictures. Little too bloody for SuperCheats. Now, he's somewhat fine actually. He's meowing fine, walking (sorta) fine, eating...fine. It'd be like, if I cut you, and you were bleeding but didn't notice it till' later. Now, since he's hurt bad he get's to stay inside. He's only aloud into one room, that's the catch.

Now I know he's gonna be fine, but if you got any tips on how he can get better soon that'd be great.
Also saying Get Well Soon would make me and him feel better (I told you, I think of him as human)

So, thanks for reading, or at least skimming through this, and I appreciate in advance all the Tips and "Get Wells"

aww that's sad fox!i had a cat before but unfortunately i don't know any tips except,give eight lots of love!also i hope he gets well soon!

poor cat! :( i love cats, and it may hurt a bit, but you can help him a bit if you get a cotton swad and get only a little bit of rubbing alcohol and rub it gently on the wounds, dont over do it or he'll lick it. hope he gets better!

you should put his leg and raise it up high on a pillow. that will fix his leg.... his ear (that happend to my cat) you need to keep his head up and every hour wash it (with a soaked wash cloth or paper towl)then dry it off that will work very, very well... TRUST ME.... thats all.

Take him to a veternarian.


Whether it seems like he needs one or not, he does. If he's hurt this bad, then the best thing you can do is just ensure his health with the proper treatment.

Go see that veteranarian.

we can't take him to vet, we're running low on money, but we know someone who loves animals, was a vet, and teaches it and will do it for free, so we got some luck

Shouldn't be too much of a worry, though I do send my luck to him for a speedy recovery.
The sprained leg could genuinely just be a sprained leg and what not, but still getting it checked won't hurt. It could be something worse like a chronic injury or something.
The ear.....possibly scratched it a bit too hard or too much. Not you yourself, the cat.....

I love Cats, hope Eight gets well soon. try and cleanse the ear, so it does not get infected.
